| About Me | Native speaker of both English and Japanese. First interpreting experience: about 10 years old, school tour of an automobile factory Overseas experience: Canada (11 years), China (6 years) Hobbies: trail running, boxing, yoga, language study (Chinese and French), cheering on the Sunwolves I have repeat clients in many fields and settings including factory tours, IT seminars, whiskey and craft beer events, focus group interviews, board meetings, M&A negotiations and tax audits. My strengths are my ability to deal with high-stress environments such as negotiations and external audits, and my deep understanding of culture and people required in consumer research and marketing. Personally, I am interested in D&I (diversity & inclusiveness) activities which promote the human rights and social participation of ethnic and social minorities including LGBTQ and persons with disabilities. As a core member of an NPO, I am actively engaged in ongoing relief and community rebuilding efforts of the Tohoku region after the earthquake and tsunami in 2011.
